MAN (FIRST) — <461547> 1 Corinthians 15:47 Adam is used in this case under this title as the beginning of the human race so that every person on earth par- takes of the characteristics of that first man. Physically we are all made like he was made. We have the same members and faculties. He began the human race, and was the first one of that race.

MAN (SECOND) — <461547> 1 Corinthians 15:47 Christ Jesus is called the second man because He began a new race of heavenly people. He was the first one of that marvelous family called the "Church" or the "Body," or the "Kingdom," or the "Family" of God. All those who belong to Christ Jesus have come to Him for the beginning of a new life, and have received that new life, are like Him in some respects and will eventually be fully conformed to His image. <660217> Revelation 2:17 (a) This bread is a type of some sort of unseen and unknown blessings which are given by God for the blessing of His people when they live victorious lives for Him. It is a gift that is lovely, precious, attractive and satisfying, but the character of it is unknown.

MANSION — <431402> John 14:2 (b) Our blessed Lord used this word to describe the wonderful place He is preparing in glory for His own children. We do not know what it is like, nor just where in glory it will be located, but we do know that if the architect of the universe is making it, it will be gorgeous, glorious and marvelous.
